Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Porter to join our team in our brand new refurbished hotel. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance in a professional setting, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain designated areas following established cleaning procedures
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms and events as required
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with guests
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Skills:
- Phone etiquette
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
- Familiarity with guest services is beneficial
