Marlin operates a collection of lifestyle hotels, aparthotels & serviced apartments across the capital cities of London and Dublin. We are now looking for a Night Receptionist to join our Front of House team in our Waterloo Aparthotel. We’re looking for our Night Receptionist to deliver consistent service excellence for our guests and oversee the operation overnight.
Night Receptionists take responsibility for the operation. It’s a diverse and varied role that requires the successful candidate to be adaptable and have a positive approach to their role.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our Night Receptionist will be a natural people person and will be able to create positive experiences for their guests. Their typical duties include:

  • Performs guest service duties engaging with the guests to assist them during their stay
  • Maintains consistent presence in the lobby and all hotel public areas
  • Handles all aspects of guest arrivals, check-in and departure, and maintains upkeep and appearance of hotel lobby and entrance
  • Makes reservations, when necessary, in accordance with hotels yield management practices
  • Maximises occupancy and ensures rate availability
  • Runs and takes accountability for the night audit
  • Seeks opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and developing strategies to improve department and hotel services
