Hours: 37.5 hours per week, permanent, 4 nights on / 5 nights off (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM)

Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on experience (full-time equivalent, based on a 40-hour week)

Responsibilities

As a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse at Dick White Referrals, you will rotate through multiple departments, including surgical, medical, and oncology wards, working with both canine and feline patients. Duties include in-patient care, nurse-led ward management, and supporting Emergency and Critical Care procedures. After demonstrating competence and interest, you may rotate into the intensive care unit.
Each night is varied, offering exposure to a broad range of referral cases. A structured handover process and collaboration with day teams ensures continuity of care and learning.
