Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for inpatient care and emergency & critical care? Barnsley Animal Trust are looking for a dedicated Night RVN to join our new night service,.
Barnsley, clinic features 10 modern consulting rooms and four theatres, complete with X-ray and dental suites. Dedicated to the well-being of our furry friends, we boast a separate dog and cat ward. Our caseload is as diverse as it gets, ranging from surgical and medical cases to in-house orthopaedic procedures.

About the Role:

  • Initial Focus: Sole charge, caring for non-critical inpatients, ensuring comfort, analgesia, and exceptional overnight care.
  • Future Evolution: Transitioning into a dedicated ECC role alongside a vet, handling emergencies and critical care cases as we launch our OOH service.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An experienced and confident RVN passionate about patient care.
  • Initially comfortable with sole charge work.
  • A proactive team player ready to embrace the transition into ECC work.
  • A commitment to helping shape the future of our 24/7 hospital services.

Rota:
7 nights on and 14 off
Average 31.1 hours a week
Shift times: 18:30 – 07:30hrs
