JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team in providing essential care services to individuals in a care home setting. The role involves supporting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
• Ability to drive is advantageous for transportation purposes
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Understanding of the importance of person-centred care

• Assist residents with personal care tasks as outlined in care plans
• Engage with residents to provide companionship and emotional support
• Help residents with mobility and transportation needs
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of residents’ living spaces within the care home
