What you will be doing Define, review and enforce all work processes (associated with various roles) related to erection of the concrete segments as well as defining and enforcing all applicable work safety standards and requirements Prepare engineering calculations and plans for segment lifting and placement processes and complete risk analysis for each process and phase Establish and enforce all site methods, kinematics of erection, work procedures, inspection and test plans, risk analysis Confirm that erection activities are completed in accordance with most recently approved engineering (ie. construction) plans and, in collaboration with the Erection Manager, Ensure that all corresponding equipment and technical resources have been secured to complete the erection phases in accordance with the approved plans Complete regular structural surveys and site inspections throughout entire erection phases of project in collaboration with the Erection Manager Prepare the purchasing request which are related to technical and engineering services, in accordance with internal guidelines and procedures Co-ordinate and track all activity, equipment, personnel, material and other resources related to erection processes and provide regular reports on the same—including consumption of materials, wear on equipment, etc. Monitor erection activities as they relate to compliance with RDLC-established and defined Quality Assurance/Quality Control Standards and applicable regulatory requirements such as environmental and zoning restrictions Identify and resolve any field issues or discrepancies in coordination with design teams Provide technical support and guidance to field crews during precast installation Assist in preparing reports and documentation for project meetings and client updates Liaise with the Erection Manager, other Erection personnel, project’s Engineering department, segment casting and transport functions personnel and the Project Manager Perform other duties as assigned.
