Description Three D Metals is currently hiring for a NIGHT SHIFT forklift operator to support the company as the shift continues to grow. Night shift hours are 7:30p-6:00a, with a half hour unpaid lunch and two ten-minute paid breaks. There are many opportunities to grow your career here, along with an excellent benefits package. More details about the position are listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure coils are readily available for each machine and placed in proper staging area Empty all hoppers Keep inventory organized, adhere to inventory safety practices and keep area free of debris Move and organize coils from the racks to the appropriate area Move and replace scrap boxes with proper tare weight recorded on each Fill in on crane when necessary General shop organization Keep turntable clear of re-slits Organize stock Organize Masters Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent; and 1+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current Reach Truck Operator or Forklift certification preferred.
Responsibilities
The primary duties involve operating a forklift to ensure coils are staged correctly for machines, managing inventory organization, and moving/replacing scrap boxes. Additional responsibilities include general shop organization and filling in on the crane when required.
