ESSENTIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Current UK Driving Licence
• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Good understanding of vehicle loading procedures and load security
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and able to lift/move cages and heavy items
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Need to be meticulous, driven and have good communication skills

• Check and verify each delivery route, ensuring all items are correctly sequenced
• Merge and consolidate goods by category (eg. Fruit & Vegetables, Chemicals, Butchery, and Milk) into their respective routes
• Accurately pull-out cages from designated areas and assign them to the appropriate vehicles
• Safely and efficiently load vehicles using a counterbalance forklift truck
• Assist on the back of vehicles to ensure correct load distribution and secure all goods for transport in line with safety regulations
• Communicate with supervisors to resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment in the loading bay and warehouse areas
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company procedures
