Night-Shift Lot Attendant (Union) – Sylmar, CA   Quixote Studios is one of the nation’s premier film and television studios and is looking for a full-time, night-shift Lot Attendant to join the team. The Lot Attendant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service experience by interacting directly with customers. You will check-in units upon return, show customers to their rental unit, and ensure our rental fleet meets company standards before departure.     What You’ll Do: * Ensure the vehicle meets company standards before departure. * Inspect vehicles for damages and assets with proper photographic documentation before leaving for rent and upon return. * Ensure each vehicle has all its required DOT/BIT information. * Ensure each vehicle has proper safety equipment in place and is current when the vehicle is leaving and upon return. * Report all potential new damage for review. * Assist with placement of smaller vehicles. * Wash and clean vehicles as needed. * Work well with customers. * Report all issues to the supervisor. * Regularly audit asset keys. * Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements. * Perform other related duties as required.   What You’ll Need:  * At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. * High School Diploma or GED required. * Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company’s insurance carrier. * Strong communication skills and knowledge of the English language. * Ability to accurately follow directions, both written and verbal. * Attention to detail. * Time management skills. * Ability  to work well under pressure. * Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors. * Must have open availability, flexibility, and able to work various shifts and overtime. * Please note, the candidate selected for this position will undergo employment verification, criminal background check, and drug screening.    Location:  Sylmar, CA; travel to other Quixote SoCal locations as needed    Position Type: Full-Time   Hours: Nightshift: 8pm – 6am    Working Conditions:  Activities include regularly working in outside weather conditions, exposure to extremes of temperature, visibility, wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. Noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, operating vehicle, and shift work. Physical Requirements: * Requirements are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * This position involves physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift. * Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds. * The role requires frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials and equipment. * Employees may need to work on irregular surfaces and perform tasks that involve repetitive motion   Compensation: Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements and this role’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the pay rate for this position is $25.36 per hour.
