Description Due to continued growth, TruStile Doors, an established national door manufacturer, has an exciting opportunity for a high-level Maintenance Technician and leader to join our team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for quality repair and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Qualified candidates should have extensive mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude; five+ years of prior industrial maintenance experience is also required. This person would also be expected to be a leader within the assigned shift; ensuring strong communication across all departmental leadership and meeting production expectations. Requirements PC competency, Word & Excel and Windows OS Metal and wood fabrication skills Able to understand and diagnose problems with complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems Ability to identify, maintain, and troubleshoot motor controls, motor starters, VFDs, DC drives, and other electrical components Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing 120/208/277/480VAC, and 12V/24/120 VDC control systems Basic PLC and Industrial automation knowledge Understanding preventive maintenance needs, able to identify wear points and failing components proactively. Fully competent in reading electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and prints to understand and diagnose the systems Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to escalate to management and vendors as needed Must be highly self-motivated and customer-centric (production is the department’s customer) Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks; the company will provide training opportunities; travel may be required Internal certification of operational knowledge on an annual basis by the TruStile QA team on critical equipment will be required annually; this will include Prime, Trim, and Critical CNC equipment Maintains continuity across shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Communicates fluently via phone, text messaging, e-mail, and Microsoft Teams with peers and leadership Preferred Requirements: Associate's degree in electronic technology/mechanical engineering or related field CNC maintenance and operating experience would be highly valued Experience as a systems trainer Project Management Experience
