Description

Maple Leaf Metals is an Edmonton-based metal recycling operation that purchases all types of metal scrap for processing, packaging, and resale. Operations include purchasing and selling scrap, heavy machinery operation, repair and maintenance of machinery, sorting of scrap, and processing of scrap material.
Maple Leaf Metals is seeking a self-motivated, proactive, eager-to-learn individual with a great work ethic to become an essential part of the Maple Leaf Metals team as the Scrap Sorter and Processor on its site. The successful candidate preferably will have prior scrap experience and must be comfortable in an industrial environment. Responsibilities include sorting scrap, working with the team to achieve efficiency in operations, and maintain compliance with Maple Leaf Metals safety standards. Harness training, elevated work platform, or first aid training would be an asset.
