What you will be doing Management, direction and coordination of personnel and activities relating to the overhead launching gantry girder - including, but not restricted to onsite equipment assembly, load testing, launching, erection of segments, post-tensioning, load transfer, equipment maintenance, etc. Provide training to and performance testing of local equipment operators (and ancillary personnel) on all relevant processes, methodologies, best practices and safety requirements relating to the assembly, commissioning and operation of the overhead launching gantry girder equipment, and enforcement of all applicable safety requirements and specifications Provide training to maintenance personnel on the maintenance and repair of overhead launching gantry girder equipment - including the replacement of components and seeking technical advice directly from the engineering department Development, implementation and enforcement of short-term schedules for equipment supervisors and operators, identification and reporting of operational, scheduling and other issues Plan, coordinate, and supervise the erection of precast concrete components (wall panels, cladding, structural systems). Read and interpret construction drawings; translate plans into daily work schedules Collaborate with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and regulators Track productivity, budget, materials, and resources to ensure on-time delivery Serve as lead person to coordinate the activities within an active construction work area Perform other duties as assigned.
