PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (NIGHT SHIFT)

Location: 81 Royal Group Crescent, Woodbridge, ON
Shift: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM – 1:30 AM

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee production operations and ensure performance, quality, and safety targets are consistently met. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can manage teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a positive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multiple lines or departments is an asset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and 5S practices.
  • Hands-on experience with basic hand tools.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Prior experience in window and door manufacturing or building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, train, and support hourly production staff.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety protocols at all times.
  • Manage employee attendance and hours using the ERP/Payroll system.
  • Plan and allocate resources to meet daily production targets.
  • Ensure all quality standards and procedures are followed.
  • Encourage lean manufacturing practices and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures across departments.
  • Address employee concerns by investigating issues and recommending solutions in coordination with HR.
  • Communicate production updates and issues to the Production Manager and Plant Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
