We’re looking for a hands-on Nighttime Transport Supervisor to oversee night operations at one of our key customer sites. ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Nighttime Transport Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of the night shift, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all transport and loading operations. You’ll work closely with warehouse loaders and HGV drivers to ensure seamless pallet amalgamation, timely departures, and quick turnarounds for trunking operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organise and oversee loading operations in the yard, ensuring all safety and efficiency protocols are followed.
• Assist with Counterbalance Forklift Truck duties when required.
• Carry out shunting tasks using the yard tug when needed.
• Monitor the progress of night-time trunking operations using vehicle tracking systems.
• Ensure the timely turnaround of second-run vehicles to meet tight schedules.
• Report any operational issues, delays, or incidents promptly to management.
