NIGHT SHIFT WAREHOUSE MANAGER

As Night Shift Warehouse Manager at Lathams Thurrock you will report directly to the Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for running an efficient warehouse team (of circa five members) between the hours of 8pm and 5am, Sunday - Thursday.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a night shift role.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Forklift operation certification is preferred, but can be trained on the job.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, quality control, and inventory management, to ensure smooth operations.
• Support employee training initiatives and ensure compliance with any updates to operational policies or systems.
• Manage shift schedules, timekeeping, and labour allocation to maintain optimal workforce coverage.
• Complete warehouse racking inspections inline with depot maintenance plan.

VARIOUS FORKLIFT TASKS

• Cycle counts,
• Stock replenishment,
• Picking and loading (where required).
