Job Title: Fabricator/Welder (Night Shift)
Salary: £16.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 x 12-hour shifts (Monday - Thursday)
Working Hours: 18:30 - 06:30

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our prestigious business on a permanent night shift. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and excellent item based OT payment structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fabrication work (not jig work) with precision and efficiency
• Weld mild steel components ranging from 3mm to 25mm thickness
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Maintain excellent attendance and timekeeping to ensure workflow continuity
• Set and uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring quality in all tasks
• Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet required specifications
• Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to the fabrication process

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Proven fabrication experience in a similar role
• Strong welding skills with mild steel of varying thicknesses
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance and timekeeping
• A meticulous approach to workmanship and quality control
• Experience with documentation and record-keeping for accuracy in reporting
