Description Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Night Shop Supervisor is fully responsible for executing and managing all second shift operations and personnel to produce quality components in a timely manner. Manage staff, delegate work, track attendance and work hours, as well as communicate any necessary disciplinary action. Oversee the scheduling of workforce to meet project deadlines. Track and maintain job progress reports and manage resources. Liaison with engineering and project management departments as needed to successfully complete jobs in a timely manner. Manage the development and adherence to work instructions. Continuously improve all plant processes. Promote positive customer and employee relations. Ensure the quality of completed work within the plant. Order, track and manage raw materials and supplies Participate as necessary in all meetings, training events and seminars. Any other duties assigned by Plant Manager as needed. Requirements Proven supervisory experience Must have experience in machine assembly or tool building, preferably automated assembly machines. Proven ability to manage schedules and timelines. Above average computer skills including experience with Microsoft Excel. 4:00 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. Monday – Friday, with Saturdays 50 - 56 hours per week on average.
