Compensation: $20.00 to $21.00/HR (Based on Experience)
Set Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday ( 3:30pm-Midnight)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Assistant Store Manager, the Stock Person position is critical to the success of Summit Tools. We are seeking a team player who is self-motivated with a strong attention to detail. The Stock Person will leverage their quick and efficient work style and consistently go the extra mile when it comes to stocking initiatives within the retail store environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 or GED
• Prior Stocking Experience
• Able to lift, pull and push up to and including 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk around for extended periods of time
• Great Communication Skills
• Detail Oriented
• Strong command of written & spoken English
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Completion of a criminal record check

• Break down pallets to sort product before putting away
• Assist in handling incoming shipments and processing products for stocking as needed
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, and bins with new or transferred merchandise
• Coordinate with the night stock lead to prioritize stock replenishment based on sales trends and customer demand
• Ensure accurate tagging of products
• Retrieve product from warehouse for store replenishment
• Conduct inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy
• Perform regular inspections of the store during the night to identify maintenance or security concerns
• Perform price changes and check signage for accuracy and proper display methods
• Unbox items and prepare items for Display Models
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of product locations
• Maintain overstock, contour bins, double ups, and bin sequences
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
• Implement procedures for efficient handling and organization of merchandise during overnight shifts
