The Hodson Bay Hotel is currently seeking a Night Supervisor to join our lovely Nights team. As Night Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth operation of the hotel during night hours. Reporting to the Night Manager, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional leadership skills:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Night Auditor or Night Supervisor in a 4-star hotel is essential.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills with excellent problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Personality: A positive “can-do” attitude with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Language: Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift in the absence of the Night Manager.
  • Manage late check-ins and early check-outs with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Conduct regular security and fire checks to ensure guest safety.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Supervise the preparation and setup of meeting rooms and event spaces for the following day.
  • Monitor cleanliness standards across all public areas and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage late-night bar service and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Provide detailed handovers to day staff to ensure continuity of service.
