We are looking for a Night Team Leader to join our first class team of carers.
Kendal House is a lovely 21 bedroomed care home in the centre of Whitley Bay with an excellent reputation for providing person centred care. We are looking for a dedicated person to continue the provision of high standard care to our residents.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient demeanour
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Ability to pass a background check/Right to work
• Medication experience
• Level 2 Health and Social Care OR Care Certificate

  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: £13.37-£13.62 per hour
  Expected hours: 24 per week

Experience:

• Care home: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: In perso

• To provide or assist in wakeful night duty cover within the home
• Carry out regular checks around the home with special reference to fire protection
• Assist residents preparing for bed and waking in the morning
• Assist residents with personal care throughout the night and upon waking in the morning
• Help with meal preparation
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning and tidying communal areas and residents rooms
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Administer medication and complete accurate records
• Supervise a small team of night carers ensuring all tasks are completed and documented
