Who we are:

  • Lumenwerx designs and manufactures architectural luminaires for the commercial, industrial and residential marketplace.

What we are looking for:

  • The Team Leader will ensure daily and weekly production activities run smoothly while maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, be organized, have attention to detail, and be able to motivate and support their team.

Schedule:

  • Night shift: Monday to Thursday (6pm to 5am)
  • The training will be during the day shift (Monday to Friday 8am to 4h30pm)
  • 40h per week
  • Possibility of over-time during the week and on Sunday’s.

Where:

  • 3737 Boulevard Cote-Vertu Ouest
  • Close to metro Cote-Vertu and bus stops

What you will do:

  • Coordinate and supervise daily production activities, including staffing and overtime schedules.
  • Distribute orders and ensure timely completion of production.
  • Lead short daily meetings (5-10 minutes) to review issues, address team needs and provide support.
  • Train and develop employees, ensuring they follow work instructions and maintain required skills.
  • Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and oversee maintenance of devices, tools, and test benches.
  • Conduct quality audits, manage non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Review rework sections to ensure rejected orders are handled promptly.
  • Promote a positive, harmonious, and collaborative work environment.

Skills and Knowledge you should possess:

  • Previous experience of leadership (Demonstrates leadership ability, interpersonal and coaching skills).
  • Demonstrate initiative and have a “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Strong sense of prioritizing and attention to detail.
  • Able to creatively solve problems.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong written and spoken English

Mandatory:

  • To be eligible for this position, you must legally be permitted to work in Canada, without any help from Lumenwerx.
  • Available to work full-time (40h per week) year-round.
