We’re looking for an experienced Night Warehouse Operations Manager to take charge of a busy cross-dock operation in Stoke. Leading a team of 8, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, ensuring smooth running of Pallet Network and Groupage operations, and creating a culture of accountability and motivation.
This is a hands-on role - around 70% of your time will be on the shop floor, with the remainder focused on planning, reporting, and process improvements.

PROVEN EXPERIENCE MANAGING CROSS-DOCK, PALLET NETWORK AND GROUPAGE OPERATIONS.

• Strong experience working for a UK based warehouse
• Strong leadership skills - able to motivate, guide, and develop teams.
• Process-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Resilient, hands-on manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident in implementing and driving operational policies and procedures.

• Leading, motivating, and developing a team of 8 night staff.
• Managing cross-dock operations, groupage and pallet network activity.
• Ensuring KPIs, service levels, and customer expectations are met.
• Implementing and embedding policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Balancing operational oversight with reporting and process development (70% floor / 30% desk).
