JOB SUMMARY

Hours: Sunday-Tuesday 5pm-5am
The Production Supervisor is responsible for working closely with the Production Manager. The Production Supervisor will develop and maintain the department with GMP enforcement, food safety, scheduling, communication, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Production Supervisor will provide support to his/her coworkers, employees, and all of NHBCO Operations.
This position is responsible for directing the activities of the personnel within the production and packaging areas in a manner consistent with Company policies and procedures; federal, state and local regulations, that will ensure the most efficient and effective production of the highest quality bakery products, under the safest and most sanitary conditions possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 – 5 years of Manufacturing experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing
• 2 Years of Leadership experience, Preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Familiarity with Unions

OUR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR VALUES CHARACTER (FAITH), COMMUNITY (FAMILY), AND COMMITMENT (FUTURE). THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR ARE TO:

• Supervise production line operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
• Train and Coach production line employees.
• Conduct employee performance reviews.
• Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
• Work with QA Dept. to ensure products are being made to customer specifications.
• Ensure compliance with SQF level code of practice and HACCP regulations and programs.
• Responsible for quality control. Adjust as necessary during the shift to producing products within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
