QUALITY TECHNICIAN – GLENFIELD

We are seeking to recruit a Nightshift Quality Technician at our busy site at Glenfield, Cowdenbeath. The role is full time, working 40 hours per week, covering nightshift, 2230 – 0600. This also includes a Sunday shift (12 hours) on a set rotation, 1 every 4 weeks, but these will be included within a 40-hour standard working week.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Technician role is a critical role within the technical team and the successful candidate will be required to provide day-to-day technical support and work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate must have ability to use their own initiative and think logically, with a high level of attention to detail.

· Testing of samples for chemistry, quality, and organoleptic properties in onsite lab; reporting any out of specification results at time of testing.
· Conduct swabbing (environmental/food contact) and collect production samples for external analysis as per routine schedule.
· Conduct visual inspections and ATP swabbing post-hygiene on all food contact equipment prior to release for production.
· Carrying out GMP and Glass & Hard Plastic Audits.
· Carry out Hygiene Audits
· Completion of daily tasks to a high standard.
