Description
    Summary: Prepare tooling and gauging packages for production personnel.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing tooling and gauging packages, servicing tooling and gauging, pick-up and return of tooling and gauging, monitoring tooling and gauging, preparing job boxes, clerical work, and assisting the tool crib supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Prepares tooling and gauging packages for production personnel; * Labels fixtures for identification; * Assigns and creates job boxes for special job applications (customer specific); * Services tooling and gauging stock locations throughout the shop; * Replenish inventory * Picks up and returns tooling, tooling accessories, and gauging to tool crib area; * Helps monitor stock levels of tooling and gauging in the tool crib; * May do clerical and computer work; Competencies: * Able to apply common sense understanding to basic work processes;  * Carries out detailed, but simply stated, written or oral instructions; * Handles problems involving a few concrete and routine job specific variables; * Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides all units of measure; * Performs the four mathematical operations with like, common, and decimal fractions; * Computes ratio, rate, and percent; * Reads and interprets prints; * Measures and verifies conformance to the print (tape measure, scale, caliper); * Identifies and organizes tasks in a manner which results in consistent department efficiency; * Communication skills required to work with production employees; * Performs job responsibilities with a limited amount of supervision; The following benefits are offered: * Health insurance * Paid time off * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Vision insurance * Life insurance * Employee assistance program * And more   EOE-Veteran's & Disabilitie
