REQUIREMENTS

  • You have a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, preferably in Business Economics.
  • You have a few years of experience in a similar role.
  • You are analytical, accurate, process-oriented, communicative, and goal-driven.
  • You are proficient in Excel and have affinity with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience with ERP, Netsuite is a plus.
  • You enjoy working in a scale-up environment.
  • Strong command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an Assistant Business Controller, you will support the Business Controller in preparing financial reports, including dashboards, and monitoring financial performance.
Additionally, you will play an active role in budgeting, long-term planning, and scenario analyses for the various departments and international entities within iwell.
You will manage cash planning and conduct ad hoc analyses with and for different departments within iwell. Together with the Business Controller, you will determine the best way to communicate this information within the organization.
Within the Finance Team, which consists of the CFO, a Business Controller, a Financial Controller, a Project Manager and a Financial Administrator, you will take on a central role where you will be given responsibilities, while also receiving guidance and support when needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly Reporting, and Analysis: Prepare reports, overviews, and dashboards.
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Support and Assistance: Step in where necessary, including ad hoc analyses and tasks
  • (Proactively) Providing Advice: Offer both solicited and unsolicited recommendations from your fresh perspective to improve processes and results.
