The Role We are now seeking a highly experienced Head Chef to lead Nobu Sydney, one of Australia’s most prestigious dining destinations. This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of an internationally celebrated brand within a world-class resort environment. As Head Chef of Nobu, you will be the culinary leader responsible for upholding the Nobu brand and delivering exceptional dining experiences while driving commercial performance, operational excellence and team engagement. Reporting to the Culinary Director, Crown Sydney, this is a hands-on leadership role where creativity, discipline and precision come together. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including Nobu corporate, to ensure brand integrity while continuously evolving the guest offering. In this role, you’ll create joyful dining experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as: Leading and inspiring a large, high-performing BOH team to deliver world-class standards Owning the day-to-day culinary operations of the outlet ensuring consistency, quality and authenticity Partnering with the Senior F&B Leadership team and Nobu corporate stakeholders to uphold global brand standards Driving menu execution and innovation while preserving the essence of Nobu cuisine Managing food, labour and operating costs in line with financial targets and P&L accountability Building a strong culture of training, succession and professional development Maintaining exceptional standards of compliance, safety and operational governance About you You are an accomplished culinary leader with the gravitas, precision and creative confidence to lead one of the world’s most iconic restaurant brands.
