Job description: We are seeking a skilled NOC DAS Engineer to provide comprehensive managed network solutions for Cellular Service Provider. This role delivers advanced monitoring, management, and support services beyond basic alert systems, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability for mission-critical public safety communications infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities Network Monitoring & Performance Management Conduct extensive performance and traffic monitoring across distributed antenna systems (DAS) Implement usage data collection and control mechanisms Perform detailed report analysis and generate actionable insights Monitor RF signal quality and identify degradation patterns System Administration & Maintenance Deploy software upgrades and system configurations across Cellular Service Provider locations Perform OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) security control Define and coordinate OAM routine schedules Execute backup and restore administration procedures Manage OAM application, database, and system administration tasks Conduct 2nd level routine maintenance activities Incident & Change Management Manage incident response and resolution processes Perform technical impact analysis of proposed change requests Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis Execute 2nd level resource fault restoration Coordinate supplier and partner interactions for issue resolution Technical Support & Troubleshooting Diagnose RF signal degradation, equipment failures, and connectivity issues Perform remote troubleshooting of multi-vendor equipment (ADRF, Comba, JMA, etc.) Coordinate with field technicians, vendors, and carriers Provide escalation support for complex technical issues RF & Telecommunications Expertise RF Fundamentals: Deep understanding of propagation principles and link budget analysis Test Equipment Proficiency: Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Network Analyzer operation Public Safety Spectrum Knowledge: 700/800 MHz bands, VHF/UHF, FirstNet Band 14 frequencies DAS Architecture: Comprehensive knowledge of passive, active, and hybrid fiber DAS systems Antenna Systems: Understanding of RF distribution and antenna system design Networking & Systems Network fundamentals and protocols Multi-vendor equipment management and integration Remote monitoring and management platforms Minimum 2 years in RF and telecommunications Network operations experience, preferably in NOC environment Public safety communications or mission-critical infrastructure (preferred) DAS deployment and support experience Multi-vendor equipment troubleshooting and management Experience with emergency services communications systems Background in wireless carrier operations or infrastructure Project coordination and vendor management experience Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
