 Position Summary

ITButler is seeking a highly skilled NOC Engineer to join its  Network Operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in NOC operations, infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and Elastic Stack administration. You will play a critical role in maintaining service availability, proactively identifying issues, and ensuring operational excellence across mission-critical IT environments.

Networking Detailed Job Description

As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure across network, server, virtualization, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will work within a fast-paced, SLA-driven operations team that supports business-critical systems and services. You will leverage Elastic Stack and advanced monitoring tools to identify performance issues, analyze logs, investigate incidents, and coordinate resolution activities with internal and external stakeholders. This position offers exposure to modern observability platforms, hybrid cloud technologies, and large-scale infrastructure environments while contributing to service reliability and operational efficiency. The role demands strong analytical skills, technical troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to perform effectively during high-priority operational incidents.

 Key Responsibilities

✓ Monitor network, server, cloud, virtualization, and application environments on a 24×7 operational basis.

✓ Detect, classify, investigate, and escalate incidents according to operational procedures and SLA requirements.

✓ Analyze system logs, alerts, events, and performance trends using Elastic Stack and monitoring platforms.

Network Monitoring & Management✓ Troubleshoot network, infrastructure, and service-related issues to minimize downtime and business impact.

✓ Correlate events from Syslog, SNMP traps, Windows Event Logs, and other observability sources.

✓ Coordinate incident response activities with customers, vendors, and remote technical teams.

✓ Maintain monitoring platforms and support onboarding of new systems, applications, and network devices.

✓ Generate operational reports, incident summaries, and SLA compliance documentation.

✓ Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures for recurring issues.

✓ Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of monitoring and observability solutions.

 Required Qualifications & Skills

✓ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.

Consulting✓ Proven experience in Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring and operational support environments.

✓ Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats).

✓ Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, WAN technologies, SNMP, and NetFlow.

✓ Experience monitoring Windows and Linux server environments.
