About this role  We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Operations Engineer to join our National Operations Centre (NOC) team. The NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring and managing impacts to critical business technology services, system performance and capacity, responding to and managing priority incidents, privileged account management, established system administration management, and supporting our after-hours IT Service team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in collaborating with various IT teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the business, while striving for operational excellence.  Please note this will be a permanent, full-time role based out of our Sydney CBD Office or Melbourne(Mount Waverley) Office. It will involve participation in a continuous shift roster - working 4 days on and 4 days off. The shift patterns will be made up of 2-day shifts from 7am-7pm and 2-night shifts from 7pm-7am.   Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to  * Monitoring and managing critical business services and systems, networks and infrastructure  * Provide after-hours service desk support to users  * Managing priority incidents for effected tiered services.  * Identify and address issues before they affect business operations  * Handle and administer privileged accounts securely   What you’ll have done  * Seasoned service desk analyst, NOC or equivalent experience (minimum 3 years), ideally in a continuous shift operations centre (24/7x365)  * Managed or been included in priority incidents, where the objective is priority service restoration.  * Strong technical knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols  * Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly, including experience with major incidents  * Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic server administration  * Experience with technology service monitoring tools - systems, application, and networks such as Centreon, Solarwinds, PTRG desirable  * Familiarity with IT service management tools and frameworks (ITIL v3/4)  * Demonstrated experience in delivering exemplary support, customer service and training  * Excellent documentation skills for keeping records of issues, resolutions, and operational procedures  * Effective communication with the ability to work as part of a team, especially in a high-pressure environment where collaboration is essential to solving issues   What we can offer you  * 5 weeks annual leave   * Opportunities to progress within I-MED’s continued growth and expansion   * Being part of a team that makes a difference to the functioning of our ever-growing business   * Experience in communicating with different areas of IT   * Enjoy exclusive benefits including discounted private health insurance, salary packaging, Fitness Passport access, lifestyle and travel discounts, I-MED services for your family and employee wellbeing support.  About Us  I-MED Radiology Network is Australia and New Zealand’s largest diagnostic imaging network, offering medical imaging and radiology services including x-ray, PET, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography and interventional procedures.
