Job Summary: The Network Operations Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will be part of our Operation Center team. What You Will Do: The candidate will be responsible for providing proactive first fix and after-sales support to our customers. The candidate will be part of the first-line operation team and will comply with defined operational procedures. This role includes 24/7 shift coverage. Reporting to the Head of Client Operations. Job Responsibilities Monitor and proactively analyze network performance using advanced monitoring tools, ensuring uninterrupted service. Investigate and resolve network incidents and outages, prioritizing rapid response and root cause identification. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and fast resolution of technical issues. Participate in network upgrades and configuration changes, working closely with engineering and support teams. Maintain accurate documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and incidents to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Deliver regular reports on network availability and KPIs to internal stakeholders and customers. Use advanced observability and automation tools for proactive detection and resolution of network issues. Job Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Networks, or a relevant field Solid understanding of enterprise-grade networking (e.g., routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls) in production environments Experience with modern monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus and PRTG Basic experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, SD-WAN technologies and automation scripting (Python or Ansible) will be considered a strong advantage Proficiency in English and Greek Ability to work 24/7 shifts What We Offer: Competitive remuneration package. Responsibilities
