Description

Damovo is looking for a Network Operations Engineer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. In this role, you will be part of an agile and collaborative team, working in an open and diverse environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our customers’ network and UC infrastructures through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical processing and Coordinating with the customer to fulfill the incident management process
  • Remote Managed Service Support Level 1-3. Providing initial incident response (level 1, 2 & 3), employing corrective actions, escalating issues where needed and generating event reports
  • Supporting the field service organization during implementation within the framework of remote project support
  • Close coordination with the service coordinators to ensure alerts are properly registered in the ticketing system, responses are timely and remediation statuses are communicated
  • Providing operational services for the systems operated by Damovo for its own use
  • Creation and maintaining the technical documentation database related to the network and UC systems
  • Use of network monitoring solutions
  • The product focus is on the UC/ ICT portfolio of the manufacturer Cisco and the 3rd party applications used in the operating environment

Experience and skills we value

  • Completed vocational training, e.g., as a communications electronics technician or IT systems electronics technician, or a comparable qualification / professional experience
  • Basic knowledge of current network technologies with a focus on UC technologies
  • Experience in working with Microsoft and Linux operating systems
  • Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English with good German skills (min. B1 level)
  • Motivated to gain hands-on experience using novel technologies to manage complex systems
