REMOTE NOC OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN – SECOND & THIRD SHIFT (CONTRACT)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based candidates only)
Type: 6–12 month contract (potential to extend and/or conversion to perm)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking experienced NOC Operations Technicians to join a 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC) team supporting a large-scale broadband network. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating repair efforts for network equipment and facilities in a high-availability environment.
This is a remote opportunity, but candidates must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. and available to work off-hours (evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed).

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Monitor the broadband network using EMS/OSS tools and respond to alarms in real time
• Open, manage, and resolve trouble tickets and outages; coordinate with field operations, internal teams, and vendors
• Troubleshoot DSLAM, ATM, and Ethernet switch/router environments
• Guide and assist field teams with equipment restorations and card swaps
• Execute and follow established Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
• Analyze and sectionalize network issues, escalate appropriately, and ensure proper follow-up
• Maintain accurate documentation for network incidents and maintenance activities
