JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a talented Node.js TypeScript Full Stack Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and scaling processes, building applications, and processing transactions via APIs on AWS for one of our direct clients. If you are ambitious, driven, and have a strong sense of ownership, we want you to join our fast-paced environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.

Key Technical Skills:

• Backend Development: Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, GraphQL, Axios, PgTyped, Jest, Middy, Swagger, Zod
• Frontend Development: Proficiency in React functional components, MUI, and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, and ES6
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling and SQL (Postgres)
• Extensive experience building data-intensive applications
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience with integrating applications on AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with AWS services: Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, IAM, CDK, CloudFormation (CFT), SAM Local, SQL

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, production-grade, scalable application components using Node.js and TypeScript
• Implement software engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers to improve their skills
• Collaborate with external teams to navigate complex or ambiguous situations and deliver optimal solutions
• Write and maintain unit and automated tests to ensure robust, high-quality code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain applications to ensure they run smoothly in production
• Conduct PR reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards
• Design and implement security measures and data protection settings
• Work with the platform engineering team to create and manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure
• Collaborate with external development teams to drive customer-focused solutions, emphasizing efficiency and scalability
• Take accountability for project deliverables, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Provide on-call support for production systems as part of a rotation policy

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
