Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in marketing, advertising, and/or public relations
  • Experience with design and content writing of advertising and marketing material for direct mail, web, and various Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • High proficiency in design and marketing software such as Canva, Mailchimp, and/or Adobe Suite, or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Courteous, enthusiastic and comfortable working with seniors as well as the general public on a daily basis.
  • A self-starter and quick learner, committed to achieving goals with excellent personal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced office and work with multiple priorities and deadlines by using outstanding organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Define, implement, and evaluate marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication and marketing material for event, lotteries and appeals.
  • Assist with creating and publishing regular updates and maintenance of the website, social media platforms, as well as our in-house “In Touch Link’ channel. .
  • Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
  • Support the promotion and delivery of fundraising events, through participant recruitment, sourcing giveaways, working with volunteers, assisting with event execution, cultivation of in-kind donation items as well as database management.
  • Maintain and execute bi-weekly 50/50 lotteries including sales, handling of money, and tracking of ticket sales.
  • Perform general office duties as required.
