Entity: Supply, Trading & Shipping Job Family Group: Strategic Planning & Business Development Group Job Description: Manage bp’s interest in non-operated joint venture (NOJV) companies owning fuels storage (terminal) assets in UK and European countries, acting as Director, Asset Manager or management committee representative as appropriate. We serve as the primary interface with stakeholders and partners in joint ventures, ensuring that communication is clear, decisions are well‑informed, and bp’s position is consistently represented. We also act as the Terminals & Pipelines (T&P) European commercial interface for T&P‑managed assets, supporting alignment and coordination with bp affiliate stakeholders. When performing as an Asset Manager per bp’s Joint Venture Management Policy (JVMP), we take ownership for driving commercial growth, maintaining bp’s NOJV Posture position, delivering the NOJV Influencing Plan, and supervising delivery of the NOJV Exposure Management Plan (for more information, see the Asset Manager role description on the NOJV Solution intranet site). When performing as a JV Director, we carry out Director duties in line with bp’s JVMP (for more information, see the JV Director role description on the NOJV Solution intranet site). We work to develop and maintain constructive, collaborative relationships with other JV Board members and seek to resolve conflicts promptly, escalating within bp only when needed. We ensure that bp customers are engaged in decisions connected to the assets and operational constraints so that choices reflect both commercial and operational realities. For Terminals & Pipelines operated assets, we act as the commercial interface between T&P and collaborator teams, understanding business needs (ST&S, M&C, aviation) and operational capabilities. We participate in commercial growth and commercial maintain project development, including business framing workshops. We support development of Mid Term Plans where applicable and confirm alignment between Mid Term Plans and Asset Strategies. We also support development of annual financial plans and forecasts for T&P‑operated terminals, contribute to competitive benchmarking, and help develop improvement initiatives. We support asset strategy development and monitor asset performance, revex, opex, capex, and operational targets, developing insights as required to understand asset performance.
