Financial Institutions department manages and develops long term, mutually beneficial relationships between the Bank and Financial Institutions clients around the world. The sector includes banks and non-bank financial institutions such as asset managers and insurance companies as well as clearing houses, exchanges and central banks. As a Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Relationship Manager - Insurance, you will be responsible for developing and managing business relationships with NBFI clients with a specific focus on insurance companies. This role covers primary insurance and reinsurance companies, Lloyd’s of London and the broader insurance industry. This is a full time permanent position.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Manage a portfolio of existing insurance and NBFI client relationships and develop cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services
• Be responsible for originating and onboarding new to Bank insurance and NBFI clients and the day-to-day risk management, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), regulatory and legal compliance management. Be accountable and responsible as first line of defence (1LoD) for pre-closing, closing and post-lending monitoring
• Coordinate with internal business departments and product managers to deliver high-quality service and product coverage to Financial Institutions (FI) clients
• Collaborate with FI Head office and overseas branches to bolster the growth of London Branch’s FI client base
• Provide credit and business proposals as well as reviews
• Perform ad-hoc duties and reports as required
• Carry out the Bank’s strategies and business objectives
• Ensure compliance with local jurisdiction, regulatory and legal requirements, and adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures in all client marketing activities
