Description Job Description: Transportation of construction materials, tools, equipment to and from jobsites. Warehouse duties included. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Load/Unload products at customers’ or warehouse facilities as necessary Complete and submit all related paperwork to the Transportation Supervisor or appropriate department, as necessary Pick up returns and/or damaged product General warehouse duties when not making deliveries. Maintain presentable appearance – including personal appearance(uniform) as well company appearance (vehicle)Listen to and resolve customer concerns Represent the company in the most positive manner – maintain presentable appearance, convey friendly, helpful, and competent disposition Perform routine safety inspections on company trucks Follow OSHA safety standards and DOT regulations, report violations to Transportation Supervisor Other duties, as needed Requirements Requires prolonged periods of sitting and driving Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel, and sort and load Frequently required to lift and/or move excessive weight (50 pounds or more)Can be stressful and may have stringent deadlines to meet – employees are expected to maintain certain levels of productivity and accuracy. High school diploma or equivalent, minimum one (1) year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Must have a For Hire Endorsement on your license Forklift Certication State and federal regulations govern the qualifications and standards for truck drivers – all drivers must comply with federal regulations and any state regulations exceeding federal requirements
