Description Specialty Metals Corporation is seeking an experienced Non-CDL flatbed driver with at least one year of experience driving flatbed trucks with up to a GVWR of 26,000 pounds and safely securing the loads. We typically deliver regionally up and down the I5 corridor from the Tacoma/Lakewood area to the occasional drop in Bellingham/Ferndale area. Safety will be the number one priority followed by friendly and positive customer service. This position may include shop duties as well. Pay range is $23.00 - $30.00 hourly. Why should you apply? All candidates must possess a valid Washington State Driver’s license, and have at least 1 year of driving experience, High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred. The candidate must pass a drug test, a 3-year motor vehicle record review, and a criminal background review. Specialty Metals will also pay for schooling to obtain a Class A CDL. This will include wages and the cost of the schooling (After 90 days of employment, time frame based on scheduling and availability).
Responsibilities
The Non-CDL Driver will be responsible for safely driving flatbed trucks and securing loads for regional deliveries. The role may also include shop duties.
