Company Description Kenn Borek Air (KBA) is a diversified worldwide aircraft charter and leasing operation. The KBA Maintenance team is currently seeking an individual to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) functions. Job Description The person responsible for carrying out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) functions in KBA will perform NDT of parts as required by the manufacturer’s manuals and bulletins or government directives. All testing required for repair or overhaul of the components will be done by the personnel trained and certified to the national standard. Major Responsibilities of the Role: Testing parts and components to ensure quality or detect discontinuities or defects in accordance with the scope and limitations of the NDT method being used Ensure test criteria are applied in accordance with applicable specifications or standards Ensure testing outcomes are evaluated for acceptance or rejection, organized, and reported on in writing Obtain NDT testing from organizations outside of KBA where required testing equipment or trained personnel are not available in house Calibration of testing equipment and interpret results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications Complete documentation of equipment calibration Assist in the establishment of techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations Participate in company safety initiatives and incident investigations Qualifications A minimum of three (3) years experience in an NDT environment Level II certification in Liquid Penetrant, Eddy Current and/or Ultrasonic testing (CGSB or equivalent) Ability to interpret drawing and other authoritative publications for NDT inspection Good analytical skills Good report writing capabilities Proficient in Word and Excel Willingness to travel as required Additional Information Kenn Borek Air offers a comprehensive employment package containing competitive wages, excellent company funded benefits program, a wellness flexible spending account and a RRSP matching program.
