Our client an aerospace company in Westfield, MA is looking for a NDT Inspector Level II on a direct hire basis. This position will be starting ASAP and the client company usually interviews very quickly. This Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm position is to ensure products meet quality standards through nondestructive testing and inspection. This role works closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain effective inspection processes, identify defects, and recommend process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Level 2 NDT Inspector
• Skilled with micrometers, calipers, indicators
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints/drawings
• Knowledge of NADCAP AC7114/1 and 6S principles
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass annual eye exam and maintain Certified Operator Program status

Experience:

• Quality assurance: 1 year (Preferred)
• visual inspection: 1 year (Preferred

• Perform inspections on metallic and nonmetallic parts using fluorescent or black light methods
• Document inspection results and report quality trends
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
• Identify and mark nonconforming parts; write non-conformance reports
• Remove surface defects using tools or abrasive methods
• Maintain inspection procedures, work instructions, and organized work areas
• Follow all safety regulations and company standards
