California Aeronautical University (CAU) is seeking qualified aviation professionals to serve as Non‑Flight Academic Aviation Instructors within our FAA Part 141 university degree programs. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality academic instruction in non‑flight aviation coursework to students pursuing an undergraduate degree. Courses May Include (but are not limited to) * Airport Management * Safety Management Systems (SMS) * Airline Operations Management * Crew Resource Management (CRM) * Advanced Aircraft Systems CLASS SCHEDULE & WORKLOAD * Classes are taught in two 2‑hour blocks * 6–8 hours per week * Schedule may vary by term and course assignment ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide engaging, effective instruction for non‑flight aviation academic courses * Support students in achieving academic success within CAU degree programs * Maintain course standards aligned with university and FAA Part 141 requirements * Prepare and deliver course materials in accordance with approved syllabi * Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback Minimum Qualifications:     Required – Master's degree
