Description
The UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute is recruiting a general, non-invasive cardiologist to join our expanding team. This position requires excellence in general clinical cardiology and may include opportunities in administration, research, and teaching. Candidates should be focused on providing high quality patient care, be interested in building a robust clinical practice, and have the flexibility to work in various clinical and hospital settings. He/she will participate in outreach efforts for the HVI, expanding inpatient and outpatient activities at locations within the HVI service area. Job duties include community based general cardiology coverage in both the inpatient and outpatient setting in the greater Pittsburgh region, including cardiology consultative services, critical care services, ECG analysis, interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms and performance and interpretation of transesophageal echocardiograms and cardiac nuclear studies. These duties will be performed in rotation with other cardiologists within the practice. After-hours and weekend cardiology coverage will be shared among the group. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - Board Certified or Board Eligible - Demonstrated excellent clinic outcomes - Pennsylvania medical license Licensure, Certifications and Clearances: Pennsylvania medical license, American Board Certification
