Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician UPMC Altoona Regional Health Services Join a well-established and growing team of cardiologists in a financially strong and thriving world-class health system. UPMC Altoona is seeking a board certified/board eligible non-invasive cardiologist. ARHS Blair Medical Associates Cardiology Department is comprised of 5 cardiologists (2 interventionalists, 1 non-invasive cardiologist, 2 electrophysiologists and 1 heart failure specialist) with PA and NP support, providing services in 4 locations. Our team also includes vascular and cardio-thoracic surgeons. The cath labs, located in the hospital, served over 3,000 patients in 2019. TAVR and Watchman procedures were added in 2019; the team performed their 1000th Watchman in August 2022. Primarily an outpatient practice in a spacious medical mall located 1-1/2 miles from the hospital. The clinic has a solid patient based that served over 1500 patients in 2019. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. Call schedule will be 1:4. Physician will work primarily in Altoona with some scheduled days in Bedford. Responsibilities

The physician will join an established cardiology team providing services across four locations, primarily focusing on outpatient practice in a medical mall near the hospital. The role involves working alongside other cardiologists, including interventionalists, electrophysiologists, and a heart failure specialist, supported by PAs and NPs.
