Description

The lead anti-poverty program in Bucks County is seeking an Accountant. Grow your finance career while making a valuable impact in the community. The Accountant will apply principles of accounting to record and report financial transactions for organization. Position performs routine clerical and administrative functions. This full-time position reports to the Fiscal Director, is hybrid remote, and based out of Doylestown, PA.

REQUIREMENTS~

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid PA driver’s license and auto insurance
  • PA criminal, FBI fingerprint, and Child Abuse clearances
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Regular and reliable in-person attendance as outlined for position in Remote Work Policy
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile and balances accounts
  • Make expense related G/L entries
  • Reconcile and balance Clients to Success financial data with accounting software as assigned
  • Reconcile and balance Donor Perfect data with accounting software as assigned
  • Maintain various office files according to agency records retention policy
  • Adhere to agency confidentiality policies
  • Prepare statistics and reports as assigned
  • Update and maintain building inventory as assigned
  • Track leases and assets as assigned
  • Participate in approved professional development training annually
  • Record checks received daily and Weekly deposits as assigned
  • Bank account maintenance and reconciliation(s) as assigned
  • Assist with preparation of periodic financial statements and other reports as required by the Fiscal Director, Chief Financial Officer, or Executive Director
  • Assist in maintenance of computerized accounting system
  • Assist with preparation of agency, department, and grant budgets
