I-Park Foundation, Inc. (I-Park), East Haddam, CT, has an immediate need for a part-time, hybrid Administrator to join our small dynamic team. This position works with our grant funders, donors, vendors, payroll service and professional accounting firm.
The position is part-time at 8 to 12 hours per week and will report to the Managing Director. Hybrid office environment, with one morning or afternoon in the office. Flexible, but predictable schedule.

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of five years as administrator or bookkeeper at a non-profit organization
  • Basic understanding of accounting, internal controls, accounting for in-kind gifts
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Facility working in QuickBooks, Excel and PayPal (and related payment portals)
  • Familiarity with donor management software; specific knowledge of DonorPerfect a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work proactively and set priorities within a deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

Finance: Credit card data entry; weekly processing of payroll; accounts payable; accounts receivable; deposits and selected analytical reports; process year-end 1099s; Liase with Finance Director.
HR/Insurance Administration: Manage employee records; administer workers compensation insurance, liability, D&O, auto and group insurance.
Office Administration: Maintain cloud drive folders; maintain office supplies; procure computer/office equipment as needed; update office/HR systems, procedures and policies as needed.
Database/Donor Base Management: Maintain the integrity of the data/donor base; data entry; edit, upload and download contact information to and from DonorPerfect, ConstantContact, Eventbrite and Quickbooks.
Grant Administration: Research and identify new grant funders, write proposals, ensure PR and marketing grant obligations are being fulfilled, write final grant reports.
