The NR Client Program Specialist develops a positive professional rapport with clients, communicates with outside agencies, completes assessments, and conducts a collaborative treatment planning process. Monitors Non-Residential clients to ensure compliance and progress in client programs. This position operates under a trauma-informed care framework, utilizes evidence-based practices in all client interactions, facilitates behavioral interventions and program reviews.       ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensures compliance with standard internal and external contracting agencies policies and procedures. * Conducts and documents effective and accurate client assessments and interviews to determine individual clients’ needs. * Collaborates with clients, referring agencies, and treatment providers to develop and implement case plans for client’s treatment programs. * Evaluates, directs and monitors services and clients' progress in relation to progression matrix and criminogenic needs with the use of evidence-based practices. Documents progression in the internal electronic charting system. * Conducts client’s initial orientation, SOA-R determined referral services, accurate and clear documentation in each client’s paper and electronic file, treatment and work schedules, and releases. * Updates the collaborative treatment plan within regulatory timeframes and based on the client’s unique strengths and needs. * Conducts and follows up on quality, evidence-based cognitive behavioral interventions. * Maintains a client caseload and meets with the client as required by regulatory agencies to monitor progress in the program. * Communicates effectively and efficiently with courts, attorneys, probation officers, and parole officers regarding the progress of the client.  Provides accurate and clear documentation as scheduled and upon request to appropriate outside agencies. * Maintains professional relationships with clients from a trauma-informed care perspective to cultivate client engagement and accountability. * Creates various reports, including but not limited to entry, termination, program reviews and client budgets. Monitors compliance with clients’ financial obligations. * Provides support to Client Support Specialists i.e.. tech office coverage, Urinalysis testing, and other client support functions. * Verifies all client employment and updates electronic records upon changes in employers. * Participates in cross-training for all Client Program positions. * Files motions through the court system and attend court hearings for client early terminations.  * Monitor daily urinalysis testing, calls, process urinalysis results with appropriate follow up i.e. incident reports as appropriate.  * Schedule and conduct randomized client curfew checks.  * Promotes and demonstrates the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Embrave. * Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, regulatory agencies, and community partners. * Embraces cultural diversity amongst ourselves and our community. * Responsible for the human, financial, and material resources as well as data and information entrusted to us. * Performs other job-related duties as required.  SUPERVISION EXERCISED:  None EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or a related field required. Successful and relevant work experience combined with professional certifications and/or training requiring rigorous effort in the discipline of counseling or case management may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
