Description The Administrative Assistant for Friends of Leaps & Bounds will play\ a crucial role in supporting the growth and sustainability of Friends of Leaps & Bounds. This position is responsible for assisting with community outreach, events, managing volunteers, and general office/administrative tasks that support programs and the mission. This is a part-time, on-site, hourly position. Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 an hourly, dependent on experience. Responsibilities: Recruit, onboard, and provide administrative support and coordinate training with the ranch volunteer coordinator. Assist with volunteer schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all programs. Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and hours. Coordinate volunteer recognition initiatives to maintain high levels of engagement, in collaboration with the ranch volunteer coordinator and marketing. Promote engagement for future employment. Actively seek and identify opportunities for the nonprofit to attend or speak at community events. Represent the organization at offsite events, promoting our programs and building relationships with community member, in collaboration with marketing. Coordinate the Beyond Therapy Program’s registration, scheduling, payment, etc. Provide administrative support to senior staff as needed. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and other relevant documents. Manage and update the organization’s database with accurate and current information. Donor Management data management Donor Thank you & Receipt production Requirements Preferred Qualifications: · Knowledge of youth program development and implementation. · Demonstrate sound decision-making skills. · Ability and willingness to work in a standing position for long periods of time, indoors, and outdoors, during inclement weather. · Ability and willingness to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. · Ability and willingness to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 40-50 pounds on a consistent basis. · Ability and willingness to bend, squat, stoop, and climb stairs on a consistent basis. · Ability to treat all employees and clients in a respectful manner. · Maintain a positive outlook on life with a passion for the company mission. Work Environment: · This position requires occasional evening and weekend hours to attend events and meetings. · Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed, in accordance with Company needs. · Must be able to travel locally for community events and offsite meetings.
