Description

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our Northern California team!
We are a California-based, employee-owned multi-branch industrial distributor of pipes, valves, and fittings, seeking to fill an immediate opening for this position in our growing Northern California branch. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of pipes, valves, fittings, and other related industrial products, along with a proven track record of sales experience.

The candidate will collaborate with the sales manager, branch manager, and other team members to expand our existing customer base and attract new customers through both inbound and outbound sales channels. You will address customer inquiries and provide solutions to help drive company revenue.

  • Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Conduct daily sales activities within the assigned territory to meet the sales goals of the territory, branch, and corporation.
  • Support sales functions, which may include order desk calls, providing quotes, making counter sales, and assisting with warehouse duties as needed.
  • Present and sell company products and services to both new and existing customers.
  • Prospect and reach out to potential customers.
  • Maintain and service existing accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets within the agreed-upon deadlines.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Respond to calls, questions, and concerns from customers.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments to keep customers informed about the latest developments.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in pipe, valves, and fittings sales and customer service is required.
  • Basic computer skills, particularly with CRM platforms, are essential.
  • Strong negotiation skills are necessary.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work within deadlines.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.

THIS IS A SALARY PLUS COMMISSION PROGRAM, WAGES TO BE DETERMINED BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
