For our Nordic cluster, we are looking for a Business Controller to lead the financial steering of our Domestic Customer Service business across Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. You will report to the Regional Service Controller for the Northwestern Europe Region (NWE) consisting of BeLux, France, Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa and the Nordics ; and act as a trusted business partner to the Nordic Service Director and Customer Service Leadership Team, driving financial transparency, performance and profitable growth. You will play a key role in translating financial and operational insights into business actions, ensuring robust planning, forecasting, performance management and strategic decision support. This is an international role at the intersection of Finance and Operations, offering significant exposure to cluster service management and regional finance stakeholders. Your key responsibilities Financial Steering and Business Partnering Act as the primary finance business partner to the Nordic Cluster Service Director and leadership team, providing insights, challenge and guidance to support strategic decision-making. Own the financial steering of the regional Customer Service P&L, ensuring accurate planning, transparency, profitability and alignment with strategic objectives. Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes across the region. Deliver actionable financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and resource allocation. Evaluate investments and business opportunities through robust business case development and financial analysis. Strategic and Operational Finance Leadership Lead the development of a consistent performance management framework and ensure a single source of truth for Customer Service financial and operational data in the Nordics. Drive harmonisation, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives across regional and global finance processes. Support strategic transformation projects and actively contribute to best-practice sharing across markets to strengthen long-term business performance and growth. Team Collaboration Collaborate closely with the regional service controlling team consisting of three Service Cluster Controllers across the Northwestern Europe Region Drive performance and foster collaboration across countries and finance communities including FP&A and Accounting teams within the Nordic cluster to ensure alignment of reporting, planning and performance management activities. What You Bring Expertise & Education University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; a professional finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is an advantage. Significant experience in Business Controlling, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering within an international and matrix organisation. Business & Analytical Skills Proven track record of delivering complex finance initiatives and driving operational improvements Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively Experience 1 to 3 years experience working in a multinational, multilocation and multilingual environment Excellent command of English (written and spoken) ; another language of the cluster is an advantage Structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative communication style For more than 125 years, Miele has been a family-owned, family-run company.
